  2. You go girl! Being a part of the younger generation, I can understand why you say these things! And it's true! God don't make junk!! Gonna go look in my mirror! :) Happy PINT!

  3. My almost 6 year old daughter started asking me a year ago if certain outfits made her look fat! Blows my mind how early that starts.

  4. It's scary how girls start so young saying and thinking these things!

  5. Too funny about the pull-up pant. You make a valid point there.

  6. I so agree with you! I did a whole post on body image and it wasn't so popular. Maybe I was too REAL about the situation, I don't know! I have two daughters and two sons and I don't want them to have self esteem issues.

I totally know what you're talking about w/ the men though... Lol! Happy Tuesday!

  9. I went to a seminar in college about the negative effects that Barbie dolls have on young girls ... its shocking how our culture has instilled this lack of self-esteem in our lives from such a young age!

I'll be sure to stop by the mirror today! :)

  10. I quit smoking Jan 2nd of this year. It was really hard at first (really, really hard) but now when I smell smoke it gives me a headache. I am SO GLAD I stayed with it and quit. I am SO much happier. YOU CAN DO IT!

  12. You are so right. Men can have big beer guts and think they are the best looking thing around. And here I am trying to suck my belly in everytime I go somewhere.

  15. I'm so proud of you for the not smoking!!! So cool that zapping your ear works!

And my problem is that I look in the mirror and (despite all real evidence) think to myself: "I really don't look ALL THAT BAD." : )

  17. I have seen women with great confidence. At WalMart. They usually weigh 500 pounds and are wearing spandex and a tube top. =)

Ok, just kidding! But that was funny... LOL
