  1. I think EVERY mother counts down until the next school year starts. I'm thankful I was able to be a SAHM during the day hours (I worked part time evenings at a hospital for several years) most of the years my two were growing up, especially once they reached their teen years, stayed up all nite, and slept all day. It was like having the house to myself! And summer time meant not having to walk little ones to and from school during the elementary years in every kind of weather, too. Was that just yesterday?! Sigh....

  8. Just saw a sign at Hobby Lobby that says their pay starts at $11/hr. Aldi was close to that as well.
Hope you have a good break while The Boy is away.

  9. I'm glad I'm not the only one who does the countdown to Christmas all year long. Staying ahead of the game is the only way I can really enjoy the holidays!

  11. Don't remind me about Christmas! Don't feel bad about the boxes still being in your living room. One year we put the christmas tree box on our coffee table and put all of our presents under the table. How's that for being festive?! hehe Happy PINT.
