One hot flash away from spontaneous combustion
wow, 47 years! congrats to them! I hope you get your retreat :)
haha. Force the husband to go buy the cake ingredients. hehe. Too funny
First congrats to your brother on 47 years! Second why did you want to bake a cake so bad and then wait two weeks?
I have so done many things like that last one. I think all moms need a retreat. I know i do!!
Hahahaha!! I love your PINT! And a wife retreat?? Where do I sign up??Happy Tuesday!
I have wanted to eat ice cream so bad that I made hubs go to the store immediately and get me some and then not eat it for days....sort of the same thing right?
i wish i had the desire to bake - but nope - instant gratification in the bakery aisle of the supermarket! :-) following you from Supah's PINT!
Blogger was totally in my craw yesterday too. I have 3 uninterrupted hours I could finally begin the never ending catch up of reading my fave blogs and I was locked out of blogger. LOCKED OUT. Sucked but thankfully its fixed today. And maybe in 5 more weeks I will get 3 entire hours again. LOL
47 years! Congrats to them! A retreat sounds like a great idea right about now!
wife/mommy retreat? you have my complete attention...lol...let me know if you find one, sounds heavenly. have a great week!
My kids wanted a cheesecake (they will take the ones out of the box!) and I bought a box of the cheesecake mix over a week and a half ago. Cooking and baking lately have just gone bye-bye in our house, so I totally understand where you are coming from! And yes, sometimes moms need to take a vacay from the family! I think I am ready for one too!
Blogger has been a bad bad boy lately hasn't he?And like your thought about "retreat."
That is so funny about the cake ingredients!! I do similar things. Especially when I see apples in the grocery store. I want to get some and make homemade apple pie. (I'm definitely NOT a Homecky Becky, but I do have a quick and easy pie recipe, plus one of those cool apple-peeler-corer-slicer thingy! Sometimes, though, the mood disappears when I get home...and sometimes the apples don't wait for me to "be ready"!
Hope your kiddo has fun at camp!
Thanks for stopping by. I love your comments...I get all warm inside just reading them!
