Saturday Centus - 01/15/11 They Say It's All in the Numbers

Time again to visit Jenny Matlock and her Saturday Centus meme. This week, she's thrown us a curve - only TWENTY-FIVE words to accompany the prompt...how can I wow her with that?

The prompt, as always, appears below in bold.

The lottery ticket changed our lives. We had cash beyond our wildest dreams, and bought everything our hearts desired...until the money was gone.

That ticket ruined everything.

  1. Nice use of the prompt. You always hear about people being miserable after winning the lottery. Although how someone could run through millions of dollars in a few years is beyond me. Although it might be fun to try :) Kat

  3. I'm sure that even with all that money, I'd still have things to complain about! Nice job!

  10. Great one, June! I can honestly say that I would NEVER have a problem with winning the lottery! I would know what to do with the money, and I wouldn't change from my old, sweet self one little bit!! Honest!

  11. Good take on this. I watched a program once where it had about people that won the lottery and that's exactly how they felt.

  14. I keep hearing this about lottery winners.

I'm willing to take the chance, though. Guess I should break down and buy a ticket one of these days, though!

Thanks for a good little micro-gem!
